Following the success of our inaugural community program last year, we are thrilled to announce the return of our 2nd annual RE: Purpose/Use/Cycle Fashion Program!

Our RE program invites youth aged 7 to 24 to partake in a creative journey centred around repurposing clothing. Participants will learn how to transform their existing, unused garments and any spare fabric they may have lying around the house into new, fashionable pieces. Don't worry if you're new to sewing; we have experienced sewing tutors ready to assist you.

In the months leading up to the grand RE: Purpose/Use/Cycle Fashion Show in December, we conduct a series of engaging workshops. These workshops cover various aspects of fashion and design, as well as prioritise well-being. Additionally, we offer model workshops to prepare for the big event.

Mark your calendars for the RE: Purpose/Use/Cycle Fashion Show, scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd.

Our ultimate goal with the RE: Purpose/Use/Cycle Fashion Program is to ignite a passion for the fashion industry among our youth. We want them to understand that a career in fashion, while unconventional, is entirely attainable with dedication and hard work.

We would like to thank LeVa and the Otara Papatoetoe Local Board for supporting our RE: program.

Join our RE Dressed in Confidence program and unleash your creativity by crafting new garments from the scrap fabric and materials found around your home. Register now!
