PLATINUM PARTNER
THE PACIFIC COOPERATION FOUNDATION
The Pacific Cooperation Foundation (PCF) is a non-governmental organisation, primarily funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), which develops, supports and implements, public/private sector economic development and socio-cultural initiatives in New Zealand and the Pacific region. Our Vision is to promote connected, informed and enabled communities in the Pacific region.
Our Mission is to increase cooperation and understanding amongst peoples of the Pacific region to bring enduring economic, social and cultural benefits.
As the leading and trusted voice of the Pacific, the PCF believes in fostering genuine partnerships, and collaborating with individuals and groups within New Zealand and across the Pacific region, to create greater opportunities and promising futures for Pacific people.
We are extremely proud to be supporting ‘The Pacific Fusion Fashion Show in Association with the Pacific Cooperation’, celebrating five years of success for PFF Ltd. This event will assist in bringing greater awareness and appreciation by the people and communities of the Pacific Islands and New Zealand of their shared Pacific identify, history and culture, while also sharing with New Zealand, the Pacific region, and the world, the incredible breadth of Pacific creative fashion talent.
It is also very exciting, this event will be held in Wellington, the Creative Capital of New Zealand and home to the second largest Pacific population in New Zealand.
MINISTRY OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Industry Partnerships, Ministry of Social Development.
At the Ministry of Social Development we are all about helping to build successful individuals, and in turn building strong, healthy families and communities. The Industry Partnerships team is employment focused, working with employers to understand what skills they need in their workforce, and helping people to access support to get those skills.
This is not work we do alone. We work closely with other government agencies, non-government organisations, advisory and industry groups, and communities and iwi. We are excited to be supporting the Pacific Fusion Fashion Show, alongside the work we do with Nora Swann, to build self-confidence, self-esteem and self-believe through creativity and connection to cultural identity. We are looking forward to seeing a showcase of talent and innovation on display!
